How to Make Affirmations Work for You
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit. —Aristotle
Just imagine: If you could have it all, what would do and be in your life? What feats would you dare to accomplish and where would you go? Just imagine your life, lived without limits. In order to reach an intended destination, you have to know your intended destination. Affirmations—clear, definitive statements declaring something is so—solidify your ideas of where you want to go or how you want to change. Without exception, positive affirmation is the key to all advancement and achievement. The most powerful and successful affirmations are the ones we design around our goals in the areas of our life that are most important to us: money, health, spiritual connection, a job you love, and great relationships with your family and friends. If you don’t take the time to decide what you want for yourself, circumstance or someone else will choose for you. This is not how life is supposed to be.
Growing up, I developed the belief that I was not very good at achieving worthwhile things in life. I ran around with a crowd of kids who were up to no good, and seemed destined for a life of failure. When I first began creating goals and visions for myself in business, it was critical that I create new beliefs around my abilities as a businessperson—otherwise my existing beliefs would end up sabotaging every new goal I set for myself.
I wrote a statement for myself that was in such stark contrast to what I had grown up believing, it still resonates with huge impact to this day:
I am a brilliant and savvy businessman.
Mind you, when I wrote this, I didn’t believe it. Not one bit. And there was a very good reason: It wasn’t true. Not yet. But I decided I would like it to be true. That is who I wanted to become. And the only way that would happen would be if I designed that new belief and entrained it into my brain.
Over the years, I have added to the list and redesigned the statements I tell myself…Here are a few:
Affirmations are self-fulfilling prophecies. Think of affirmations as the core principles of the life you are visualizing. Affirmations are your To Be List—powerful reminders throughout the day that keep you on track toward your goals and dreams. You deserve to decide for yourself exactly what and who you’ll become and what you’ll acquire along the way.
Through a process we call neural reconditioning, you can take those goals and dreams and turn them into neural patterns in your subconscious brain. Let’s take the analogy of running a marathon. Whether or not you’ve ever actually run a marathon before, you probably have a pretty good idea of what it takes to get in shape for something like this. It’s not just something you can decide one day and do the next. It takes time and consistency. It takes an applied methodical effort. You need to workout daily, breaking in your system bit by bit, toning and strengthening your muscles, training your lungs and heart, until gradually your entire system had become acclimated to the new demands you are asking of it. You see, your entire nervous system is set up to help you establish habits. After it understands that you want to perform an activity over and over again, it makes those corresponding neural pathways very efficient so that it becomes easier for you.
This is exactly what you are going to do with your brain. Positive affirmations form new facts and data for the subconscious brain to hardwire. It takes daily, consistent effort.
Here’s how you can begin to recondition your brain:
Create a new, powerful, physical and mental vision. Make your goals emotionally rich and crystal clear.
Create powerful declarations and affirmations in each category—health, wealth, relationships, business and spirituality—that support your new vision.
Use a portfolio of imprinting material, which may include written, auditory, visual and subliminal pieces. Through repetition—affirmations on audio, visualization and meditation—you will begin to replace your old beliefs and habits with new ones.
Maintain a daily routine of reconditioning techniques: For five to seven minutes, three times a day, use photos, vision boards, mental movies, self-guided imagery, real-life movies, and recorded and laminated affirmations.
Practice meditation daily. Meditation can increase your focus and concentration, increase your power of concentration and attune the brain to receive the answers, tools and resources needed to fulfill that vision.
We need a vision for our lives, or else nothing we do means anything. No matter what your current circumstances, if you can imagine something better for yourself, you can create it.
Why are New Year’s Resolutions a waste of time? Because they are not backed by the right mental preparation and conditioning.
I know that’s a bold statement, but let me ask you, how many years have you been making resolutions, only to find that within two or three weeks (any day now) you’ve given up?
The fact is, relying upon will power, resolve and persistence is absolutely the worst way to achieve your new goals. These things are controlled by your conscious mind, which is responsible for only about 2-4 percent of your day-to-day actions and perceptions.
It’s not your fault!
When I say that it’s not your fault, here’s what I mean: Due to your habits, you’ve become conditioned to stay in the same physical condition, salary or in the same mediocre relationship. An internal financial or physical “set point” is conditioned deep in your subconscious brain so that you don’t have to think about the day-to-day activities you need to do to maintain it.
Does this make sense to you?
Think about lottery winners: Why is it that within two or three years, almost all of them lose all their money? It’s because they are conditioned to be without money. Their do not change their subconscious set point of how much money they should have, therefore they revert to that point – it’s like an anchor on a boat!
Believe it or not, once any image, habit or belief is ingrained in your subconscious brain, you automatically seek out situations and behave in ways that resonate with that “internal image.” Now, if you currently don’t like the results you are witnessing with your physique, job, income or relationships, then guess what … you must break the old patterns and old conditioning that’s causing them!
How is this possible? Well, NASA has proven that breaking subconscious patterns takes 30-60 days of brain retraining.
You see, if you do not “re-train” your subconscious brain at the same time you make the decision to improve your health or financial situation, for example, you will within very short order return to your old weight and wealth patterns – and that’s why, despite the best intentions, the vast majority of New Year’s resolutions are not kept.
Simply put, there is a “cybernetic trigger” in your brain. It detects any change from your current situation, no matter what is, and it overrides your will power and forces you to behave in accordance with your old habits. Hence, the same results repeat themselves, because of the same thought patterns and behavioral patterns. It works exactly like the thermostat in your home that automatically picks up any change in room temperature and then makes corrections to return things to “normal.”
In essence, this automatic “trigger” causes you to rationalize why you’re not sticking with your diet or new financial plan, and basically forces you to revert to your old habits and patterns.
Think about this: When you break the word “rationalize” in two, you get “rational-lies.” The internal self-talk you catch yourself doing is automatic, and a result of the system doing its job to keep you at your “comfort zone,” even though it’s not what you want!
What does all this mean to you? Your income, your body and your relationships are only expressions of the internal self-image you have at a deep-rooted level… If you want to see permanent changes on the outside, you must retrain the mental image on the inside first.
So it adds up to this: If you truly want to make permanent changes in your life, it takes about 15 minutes a day of mental retraining for 30-60 days. The more you do this, the faster you’ll see results. The good news is that you can’t get a brain hernia if you overdo it.
The bottom line is this: When you are interested in your success, you’ll do what’s convenient. On the other hand, when you are committed to your success, you’ll do whatever it takes.
If you are serious about living the life you want and deserve, check out my FREE guide below and I’ll show you the most advanced system for permanent financial and life success.
If you are really serious about achieving greater financial success you must read and understand this now.
In my many years of studying human perception and peak behavior it never ceases to amaze me how many people think that we see with our eyes. We don’t!
We see when light bounces off an external object and enters our eye through the cornea, causing complex chemical reactions and electrical impulses to occur. This allows our brain to decipher the information from our external world and to determine whether or not it is important to us. It is actually our brain that sees and not our eyes. Our eyes are just like the lens on a camera – they allow in light that is reflected off objects so that our brain can see and process information.
Seems pretty simple right? Now, you may be asking why this is important to earning money and so I’ll explain to you what is really going on and why it’s especially important to you if want to achieve higher levels of financial success.
The way your brain works is really amazing when it comes to capturing and analyzing information. However, herein lies the problem.
Every second about 400 billion pieces of “information” from the outside world is being picked up through your eyes and your non-conscious mind. Your conscious mind however is made aware of up to only 2,000 of those pieces of information. That means that over 9.9999 million pieces of information are being dropped from your conscious awareness at any given time.
Your brain searches the outside world for patterns and images that it currently recognizes or deems highly important. It drops all other sensory information from your perception if it is not on your “important list” or part of your current mental programming or conditioning.
With that said, if you are conditioned to earn a certain income or if your company is used to generating certain revenues, your brain is will consistently seek out opportunities that match that level of income. Nothing less, nothing more.
Earning more income is totally an inside mental game and not an outside game. Working harder used to be the answer because that is what our parents, teachers and mentors taught us we should do. They didn’t know better. Today we do.
With all the advancements in brain research and recent understandings in quantum physics, you owe it to yourself to really understand how your priceless brain works and how to take control of all its powerful systems. In the last six years alone the advancements in human potential have been huge, especially in understanding why people get stuck financially.
If you are still working way too hard daily, then you are really missing the boat on taking your income or revenues to your true potential.
If you are interested in maximizing your income, revenues and living a healthier, happier life, I urge you to consider my goal achieving program that will show you the most advanced process to achieve any goal you deserve and desire.
To Having It All!
Times are tough out there and many people are hurting right now.
If you want to understand what got us in this mess read on, I’ll explain.
When you and I want to buy a home, we usually go to a bank and get a loan.
Let’s say your loan is at 6% annual interest. The bank sells the loan to bigger Wall Street type institutions and keeps a small fee for originating the loan.
Now these institutions bundle these mortgage loans in batches of $100 million, and sell them to even bigger institutions like hedge funds, retirement funds, etc., and they keep a small fee for that. At the end, the bigger institution may receive a 4% return on their money, while the middle men get a smaller fee, as they no longer are holding the mortgage. They basically get paid a commission for their involvement. And the more loans they process, the more money they make, with almost no risk.
Herein lies the problem: When the homeowner can’t afford to make the payments (because they never should have gotten loans as big as they did in the first place) all the institutions and the banks don’t get paid. This causes a cash crunch, which now extends to every person and business on the planet that isn’t prepared for a downturn in the economy.
The government steps in and buys all the “bad” in-default mortgages from the institutions in hopes that it will free up their cash. This is done so they’ll start lending to homeowners and businesses again, so it can be business as usual. Unfortunately, this is a temporary fix.
We must get back to lending people money based on their true ability to pay it back, and not based on the hopes and dreams that the real estate market or stock market will continue to go up without a downturn. It’s never happened before and it’s not going to start now.
With this said, what can you do now to make sure you stay strong and thrive in this market? You must understand that if you are focusing on the negative aspect of what is happening in the market and the economy, you cannot be focusing on how to thrive in these times.
More millionaires will be made in the next two years than in the last ten, and you too can learn how to thrive despite the economy.
It’s those who learn how to think and act differently who will prosper. To learn more about how to take charge of your thinking, check out my FREE guide below.
Here are five myths about change and getting more out of your life:
Reality: In a recent study, ninety percent of patients who’ve had quadruple heart bypass surgery continued to live a lifestyle that would worsen their condition and threaten their lives.
If you won’t change despite a life and death decision, then what?
Solution: Most people use “will power” and “persistence” to make the changes they want or need thinking that they are doing the best they can. After all that’s what we were taught.
Although it’s a gallant effort, we now know that permanent change takes reconditioning the brain to a new way of thinking and behaving. According to scientists, it takes approximately 30 days of daily reconditioning to create the new “neural networks” that are needed for long-term permanent changes in a person, before you can expect your business or life to get better, and stay that way.
It took time to create your beliefs and habits and it takes time to get rid of the ones that don’t serve you.
Reality: Absolutely not true! People almost always go into automatic denial of the bad things that might happen to their business or themselves no matter what the potential severity of their decisions and consistent actions are. It’s as natural as breathing for us to wait till the absolute last minute to change.
Solution: Creating compelling, positive visions of the future with a viable plan or solution is one of the best ways to inspire long term and permanent change. You must get emotionally involved with why you must change and then follow your plan. If you have a big enough reason to change, you may be more serious than if it’s just convenient. Having a buddy to help you is also a great way to ensure you follow through. In addition, create an environment around you to help support any new changes you seriously want to make and keep.
Reality: Our thinking is guided by our internal stories, narratives and habits of thought, not facts. When a new fact doesn’t fit our current internal map of reality—which we use to make sense of the world—we automatically reject it. Change is best achieved when emotions are involved and invoked quickly, not facts.
Solution: If you seriously want to make significant gains in any area of your life or business, you must get emotionally charged regardless of the doubt, fear, obstacle or size of your goal. Emotions are the brains fuel for making your goals a reality and as mentioned above, get support to help you along the way.
Reality: Radical, fast, and severe changes are often easier to sustain because of the quick results one derives. We thrive on fast gains and will do a lot to sustain them. When we see that our efforts have paid of fast, we are 100% more likely to continue vs slower to see results.
Solution: Make a specific decision on what you want to achieve and go full out executing a well thought out plan. Make sure you get the support you need to sustain the changes during and beyond the 30-day mark. And remember the change MUST happen on the inside first or it will be very short-lived.
Reality: The latest findings suggest that only 50% of our “hard wiring” is genetically based and that our brains have extraordinary “plasticity” that can be molded and plied in new ways throughout our lives. We have the ability to grow complex new “neural networks” very fast that can help us create a new reality for our business and life no matter how young or old we are.
Solution: We can rewire our brains by creating new beliefs of what is possible for us to achieve. You can create new beliefs using affirmations, visualization techniques and meditation. You must then act upon our desired goals as if your life depended on getting great results regardless of the doubts or fears that we feel due to your old conditioning or past results.

Many people have asked me why I created my program, “Having It All,” and I realize that some people simply do not believe that it is possible to ‘have it all.’ Well, I am going to dispel that rumor once and for all.
If you are serious about learning what it takes, then read on and I’ll take you on a short journey. I’ll also share with you two incredible resources I’ve created – more on that later.
First, let’s suppose that at some point in the past, for whatever reason, by whichever means, there was a big bang, or there was not. It doesn’t really matter. All we know is somehow, our universe, solar system, galaxies, and planets are here, (and specifically our planet) and that’s where I’ll begin.
The number being thrown around right now is that our universe is at least 12.5 billion years old. The reason for the prelude is to set the stage for some thought and greater understanding.
While you and I do what we do every day, there are others who study the “what” and “how” of the universe. They are figuring out how it all began, what the galaxies are, and even closer to home, what our planets are and how they do what they do. How this occurred is irrelevant at this point. It just is. After all, we’re pretty sure the planets and galaxies were all here before us.
Instead, I like to think of our universe and planet Earth as our ‘playing field’, and our body and mind as ‘the vehicles’ we have been given to play on the field. So here we are, on this field, and we now have two choices:
Either way, the game is on, and you must choose whether you are going to play or watch. If you have chosen to play, let me explain to you that that there are people who study the playing field every day. They have discovered very specific natural laws that govern our universe, galaxies and planet.
If you are a serious player, knowing these laws, and understanding them would have a serious impact on how well you play the game, don’t you think?
There is one Great Law that suggests that everything we see (and can’t see) is made up of energy. There are also seven other major natural laws that work synergistically, and they allow the playing field to do what it does with such ease and perfection. Unfortunately, we have never been taught how to be in harmony with these laws.
It’s time we raise our awareness and begin playing at a higher level…
Let’s leave the laws alone for a moment, and discuss our body and mind.
For the most part, the physical body is easy to understand. We have studied it for over 6,000 years, and have learned a couple of tricks to keep it going faster and longer. We have five physical senses to help us decipher and understand the stimuli around us or on us.
The mind, however, is a little bit more complex. Scientists and theologians have discovered that we have six intellectual functions that are part of our conscious mind, and we also have three subconscious functions that assist us with much more complex issues and needs.
So here we are, playing the game, and I ask you this question, ‘How well do you understand the basic natural laws of the playing field, and how well do you understand the functions of the body and mind?’
For many people the answer is the same. Not very well. The reason we do not know the answers, is because we have never been taught to look at the whole picture. Very few people have studied and understood how to connect the whole deal in a way that it is easy to understand and apply.
I will suggest that in order to ‘Have It All’, you must first understand the basics for making it possible. Look around you and observe the perfection and precision in everything. There are no accidents. It all operates by exact order.
If you choose not to learn how all of it works, that is totally up to you. You are then choosing to play at a mediocre level, and not at the level you are capable of.
As I mentioned before, you make the decisions on whether to play or watch, and then, how well you want to play. Learning the playing field and how you function makes the game much more fun!
Not knowing the basic laws is like not understanding gravity. Not understanding yourself is like being a pilot who doesn’t know exactly how all of her plane’s instruments work. Would YOU get on that plane?
Even once we understand the playing field, and the optimum way to use our body and mind, we still need to learn the rules relating to the five different games being played… those games are called health, wealth, relationships, career, and spirituality.
The games are complex, especially if we aren’t taught the rules, angles and ways to win. Once again, if we choose to learn, the games become much more fun and easier to play.
I have invested more than 20 years into this exact research and have discovered the fastest and simplest way to have what I want. My deepest desire is that you discover a few things to make your journey outstanding.
All you must do is be open to learn how to play, and grow again like you did when you were a child.
Whatever you do, remember to create a masterpiece with your life. It is your choice!
Here is a little pop quiz for you. In 1923, who was:
These men were considered some of the world’s most successful in their day.
Now, 85 years later, the history book asks us if we know what ultimately became of them.
However, that same year in 1923, the PGA Champion and the winner of the most important golf tournament, the US Open, was Gene Sarazen.
What became of him?
He was healthy and played golf until he was 92, died in 1999 at the age of 95 and… he was financially secure at the time of his death.
So what’s the purpose of this little tale? Is it to play golf until you are 92? The answer is… only if that’s your passion.
The purpose of this message is to invite you to live life on your own terms. Life is too short to settle for less than your full potential.
To you Having It All,
Take any group of 100 people at the start of their business or working career and follow them for 40-50 years until they reach retirement: Here’s what you’ll find, according to the Social Security Administration:
I know it’s an odd question, but which one will you be (or are you already)?
Some have college degrees and others have little or no education.
There are a few millionaires who were born wealthy, and there are many who do it on their own, the old fashioned way — they earn it.
There are millionaires in every country in the world, regardless of location or circumstances.
The truly wealthy people, those who have money, health, great relationships and a spiritual connection, all have one thing in common:
They understand that in order to achieve what they want, they must learn to think and act in certain ways.

You should know by now that I am a risk-taker. I have a lot of faith and, truth be told, my risks are pretty calculated. I do my best due diligence before I take any sort of action, and do what I can to eliminate undesired results. Then I charge forward with the belief that no matter what happens, everything will work out fine—or at least the way it was supposed to. I trust one hundred percent of my being to the universe.
If you don’t risk money, you’re not going to make a lot of it. If you don’t risk your emotions, you can’t have a deep, fulfilling relationship. If you don’t risk falling short of your dreams, you’ll never come close to them.
But don’t take a risk while focusing on what could go wrong, because the law of attraction will ensure that what you fear most will happen. If you focus on failure, you can never succeed. If you focus on being hurt by a relationship, you can never feel loved. But don’t take my word for it—test my ideas by starting to take risks. You have been given the unique power to make choices. Every other animal on this planet is confined.
But you have the ability to co-create your own destiny with the powers given to you. To achieve the life of your dreams, you must first have total and undeniable faith in yourself and in God, your Creator, the Universal Intelligence—whatever you choose to call your source. That’s why the greatest risks of all are called leaps of faith.
Are you ready to take a leap of faith to live the life of your dreams? My FREE guide below can help you achieve your goals and more.
